Thank you.

I filed for candidacy for Elk River City Council Ward 1 for two reasons:

1) To give voters a choice and the opportunity to exercise democracy by having more than one person on the ballot.

2) To meet more people, learn about their lives, and better understand how the City of Elk River impacts them.

Both of those goals were fulfilled.

Although I didn't receive enough votes to win the election, I'm grateful for the opportunity to have participated.

Thank you to all the people who took the time to talk with me at their front door. You are kind, thoughtful, and encouraging. I loved hearing your ideas and how much you care about our community and one another. I hope to see you as I run through our neighborhoods, shop at Elk River stores, and play in the parks.
